Here is a typical day in my Salamanca life.
-7:45 Wake up, take a shower, eat breakfast. They always leave out toast, nutella, and cookies. Weird, I know. But I guess that's how Spaniards do it.
-8:45 Head to Class
-9:00-11:00 Syntax class. My teacher's name is Lula, and she is hilarious. We have a coffee break about 10:15 and two girls and I always go to the same little cafe!
-11:10-12:00 Culture class. This one is really random. We've learned a lot, but also watched some beer commercials, and one day my teacher danced barefoot.
-12:10-1:15 Art History class. My teacher is a 30 something named Jorge. There are tons of Brazilians in this class.
-1:20-2:15 Composition class. The teacher in this one is pretty old, but she's sweet! The window in this classroom faces the cathedral, so it's hard not to get distracted!
-2:30 We make it home for lunch, which is always swimming in olive oil.
-3:00-5:30 Siesta! We read a book and take a nap. This is mine and Amy Anne's room. It looks like a dreamsicle.
-5:30-9:00 Every day is different. We usually pick something cool to go see or do. Last week we took a cooking class. Tuesday's we have Bible Study with the Clemson RUF kids. Right now I'm sitting in a cafe attempting to study for my finals tomorrow!
-9:15ish Dinner with the family, also drowned in olive oil.
-10:30 Usually head to the plaza for ice cream and to hang out with friends. Sometimes we'll call it an early night and go to sleep!
