After Sevilla we headed to Granada, another city in Analucía. We went to a flamenco show in the gypsy caves of Sacromonte, where flamenco started. It was incredible! The dancers were right in front of us. Imagine everything stereotypically Spanish and we saw it. The flowers in the hair, the fan, the red ruffled skirt - I can leave Spain content now!
Getting ready for the show to start.
The first girl was dressed as a bride.
The band and the dancers that weren't dancing at the time were about 4 feet away from us. They would shout out things in the middle of the dance such as "How beautiful!" and "Aye aye aye!"
I wasn't exactly sure how to take a video on my camera, so this isn't very long. But hopefully it will give an idea!
This girl was the most talented.
She got Amy Anne to come dance with her - hilarious! She was a good sport.
The neighborhood is on the mountain opposite the Alhambra.
