Campeones

I have safely arrived in Salamanca! Thanks to prayers, the travel went smoothly! I have settled in to my new house, taken my placement test, have my class schedule, gotten a cell phone, bought some shampoo. Life is starting quickly! The first night we went to the Plaza Mayor to watch Spain become Euro Cup champions! It was so much fun. People were going absolutely crazy, as can be imagined. 

My host family is SOOO friendly. They want to chat all the time, and they hate when I translate to Amy Anne. I guess they think she'll learn by simply not hearing any English! Which is probably pretty valid. Our plan is to explore something new in the city every day after siesta. The architecture in this ancient town is absolutely stunning, so lots of pictures to come!
